Description:
The John Damberg Latin Jazz Quintet will present an exciting mashup of Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, and Trinidadian style songs in the beautiful acoustics of the Anchorage Lutheran Church Sanctuary. This concert will feature a number of songs honoring Hermeto Pascoal, one of Brazil’s most prolific composers, who recently passed away at 89 years young. Joining John on this musical outing are Karl Pasch on clarinet, Mark Manners on guitar, Bob Andrews on bass, and Cameron Cartland on drums.
The concert runs from 4:30-6:00 p.m. and doors open at 4 p.m.
Admission is free and donations are gladly accepted.
