The John Damberg Latin Jazz Quintet Concert presents a concert of new original songs penned by John Damberg and Mark Manners set to the hot, funky rhythms of Brazilian Samba, Baion, Trinidadian Calypso, Soca, Afro-Cuban Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, swinging American Jazz, and New Orleans 2nd line funk & Latin Jazz Standards.
The John Damberg Latin Jazz Quintet strives to present fresh, new musical landscapes for Alaskans to enjoy. Their mission is to create new Latin Jazz compositions and re-discover the music of the Latin Jazz Icons of the Caribbean, Central, and South America in performances throughout Alaska and beyond.
